On June 7, 2025, Ms. Anchana Chongjaroen, advisor to the director of the Ranong Provincial Educational Center, was assigned by Dr. Nathakorn Kumpech, the acting director of the Ranong Provincial Educational Center, to attend the second meeting of the Ranong Education Council in 2025 at the Provincial Administrative Organization meeting room in Ranong. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Supoj Phutthikriangkorn, the Governor of Ranong, and attended by heads of government agencies, committee members, school directors, education experts, and representatives from the private sector.The Ranong Provincial Education Office has been promoting the establishment of the Ranong Education Council since the fiscal year 2021, with the following actions taken:

1. Presentation to the Ranong Provincial Education Committee during the 6th meeting of 2023 on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, where the committee agreed on the guidelines for establishing the Ranong Education Council.

1) Name: Ranong Provincial Educational Council 

2) Location: Ranong Provincial Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University 

3) Objectives of the Ranong Provincial Educational Council 

     3.1) To be a central hub for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas in education management and lifelong learning, and to address educational issues in the Ranong province. 

     3.2) To promote and support children or disadvantaged individuals in Ranong province to receive lifelong learning according to individual needs, in order to reduce educational inequality. 

     3.3) To promote and support the development to enhance the quality of learning for citizens of all ages in Ranong. 

     3.4) To conduct activities for public benefit, including collaboration with other charitable organizations. 

     3.5) To raise funds from all sectors to establish a fund to support disadvantaged individuals in acquiring knowledge, morals, and suitable professions. 

     3.6) To create a database on children and disadvantaged educational individuals.

2. A meeting was held to raise awareness about the establishment of the Ranong Provincial Education Council in collaboration with the Ranong Provincial Education Council on November 30, 2023, at the meeting room of the Ranong Provincial Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The meeting jointly considered the suitability of Mr. Niti Uitaekkheng, the Vice President of the Ranong Provincial Administrative Organization, to serve as the Chairman of the Ranong Provincial Education Council.Subsequently, the guidelines for driving the Ranong Provincial Education Council and the establishment of the Ranong Provincial Education Council were discussed.
